ASHS Recommendation

The ASHS recommends that all Branch and Management Council events follow the current health advice requirements of their State. If Branches or Management Councils feel that extra precautions are necessary, based on pre-event planning and risk management, then this will be at the discretion of the Hosting Committee.

The ASHS is a registered COVID SAFE Workplace

With restrictions and regulations changing almost daily, the ASHS has put together the following information and included links that Members may find helpful to keep up-to-date with the most current restrictions and requirements.

BE COVID SAFE GUIDELINES FOR COMMUNITY SPORT

Branches holding events need to be familiar with COVID-19 Guidelines, and need to complete a COVID-19 Safety Plan and are required to display the necessary documentation. Some venues may require a Risk Management Form

Branches may be required to nominate a COVID-19 Safety Coordinator and complete the COVID-19 Awareness Course at https://www.playbytherules.net.au/got-an-issue/covid-19-support-centre/covid-19-awareness-mini-course

Branches are still required to submit all ASHS Event Notification forms including:

Branches will also need to submit a copy of the completed COVID-19 Safety Plan where applicable.
