Event Planning and Management

The Branches and Management Councils of the Society host many events and activities for Members around Australia. These events are organised by innumerable and invaluable volunteers who are enormously generous with their time.  The dates for these events are listed on our Upcoming Events page.

The following information and forms will assist Branches and Management Councils with event planning and notification of upcoming events.

To have your Branches and Management Council event listed on the Coming Events page – complete the Event Notification Form. This must have the basic details for your event including date, location and type of event.  Further details, to complete the approval process, can be completed on our new Event Management Plan. This document will help you with planning the event and for the potential risks. 

All events planned by the Branch or Management Council must be advised to the Society, through Head Office, on an Event Notification form prior to advertising anywhere. This allows the Society to begin the approval process and ensure that it is covered by the Society’s Public Liability Insurance Policy.  Approval will not be finalised until all required documents have been received and approved by the Society.
