Find a Judge
When selecting a Campdraft judge please be aware that they need to be fully accredited with one of the Campdraft associations. It is a good idea prior to the event to check their accreditation is current with the relevant Campdraft association.

Become a Judge
Becoming an ASHS judge gives you the opportunity to promote the Australian Stock Horse as a breed of excellence and importance. It enables you to develop new skills or advance skills you may already have and become a part of a community with the same goals and values as yourself.
As a way to ensure a high standard of Judging, Branches and Management Councils are encouraged to conduct Youth Judging Competitions in Led and Ridden competitions for competitors 8 to under 21 years of age.
We encourage experienced, accredited Judges to encourage and assist young members to learn all they can about Judging and to support them on their journey to becoming accredited.
Probationary Judges
Probationary Judges have attended a Judges Workshop and begun the path to becoming an accredited ASHS Judge by graduating as a Probationary Judge. This classification enables these members to judge alongside an Accredited Judge to gain confidence at Branch Shows and to gain assistance from Mentor Judges to obtain the necessary experience to become fully accredited.

Remain a Judge
The ASHS has launched its new online Judge's Refresher Course which accredited Judges need to complete every 3 years.
All Judges need to be up to date with their accreditation and be current Members of the ASHS, prior to judging in 2026 and to remain on the Judges List.
